Inside look at the YMCA this morning. F3 > Globo Gym

Was thinking a few weeks back, man I haven’t posted at Norton Commons but once since its inception.  Feeling guilty, I text’d Grinder that I’d signed up to take a Friday.  Need to get this Double Down Challenge going with a guest Q at another AO.

Fast forward to today.  Returned to the gloom yesterday morning after battling a nasty cold over the last week or so.  Feeling refreshed.  Wasn’t sure on how many to expect and 8 other HIMs rolled in for a trip down to Pleasantville.

The start – Black and White

Q – OJ

PAX: Pew Pew, Plumb Bob, Jitterbug (R), Wham!, Pork Chop, Grinder, Bulletin (R), Fridge

A short mosey over to the marketplace, well not sure what that thing was called but it was decorated with some cool lighting

100 SSHs 😊 – I swear it feels like I’ve only done this a time or two and Jitterbug reminded me that he was there for two of my previous Q’s and I had done it then.  Sorry not sorry

10 Slow Count Abe Vigotas IC – emphasized the stretching here

10 Slow Count Grass Grabbers IC – same here, focus on stretching not bouncing

Thang 1 – Native American around the loop and back to the YMCA, PAX in back would drop for 1 burpee and run to the front.  All PAX ran prisoner style

Thang 2 

Plank Box Jump inchworm – each PAX lined up a couple of feet apart facing the same direction in plank formation.  Person in the back would box jump each other to the front and assume the plank position.  Fridge was clearing dudes with ease.  Guy’s got some hops.  Each PAX completed this twice.

Thang 3 PMS (I ran this back in the summer at Vets and knew I’d run it again someday)

YMCA parking lot (they were busy to quite busy).  All those people kicking in with their new year’s resolutions were getting after it.  People going in and out all over the place.  They’re paying for their gym.  Suckers.  

Using the four corners of the parking lot each PAX would complete the following

Corner 1 – 10 Plank Jacks, 10 Merkins, 10 Squats – run to corner 2

Corner 2 – 20 Plank Jacks, 20 Merkins, 20 Squats – run to corner 3

Corner 3 – 30 Plank Jacks, 30 Merkins, 30 Squats – run to corner 4

Corner 4 – 40 Plank Jacks, 40 Merkins, 40 Squats – run to corner 3

Wooooof – I was on my knees for a lot of this

Wham! of course was over there doing Merkins only using his two pinkie fingers

Corner 3 – 30 Plank Jacks, 30 Merkins, 30 Squats – run to corner 2

Repeat this and back to corner 1 for 10 sets of each…

6 min to spare
