After a stretch of rainy days, it was nice to have some dry pavement to work on this morning. It was a little chilly at 30 degrees, but the wind was light and the sky was clear. Based on the conditions, I expected a bigger turn out. Only Cookie and Drysdale joined me in the gloom. Maybe guys were on field trips to get Iron Horse points. It can’t be that my Q’s are difficult.. can it? Not with this group of HIM’s. I had planned on doing some partner work but that wouldn’t work to well with just 3 guys so I had to modify on the fly. We warmed up with some SSH’ IC, Imperial walkers IC, D-Dog strecth’s and Merkins. From there we moseyed to the new coupon storage area and up to the big lot for the Thang. We were able to perform the circuits I had planned as individuals vs. Dora Style.
20 squats with coupons, 20 lunges, 20 squat jacks followed by a sprint to the opposite end of the lot and back.
20 big boys, 20 flutter kicks IC, and 20 LBC’s IC followed by another there and back sprint.
20 OH Press, 20 curls and 20 rows followed another sprint.
We ran back through each of these a second time then stored the coupons.
Drysdale had to call it a little early due to carpool duty so we moseyed back to the monument where Cookie and I wrapped up the last 10 mins. 20 Incline merkins, 20 dips and 20 regular merkins followed by a lap around the circle. Next, 20 step ups, 20 Bonnie Blairs and another lap. Time allowed for one more merkin/dip/merkin cycle and one last lap to finish the morning. Quick 2 man count and name-orama/COT and that was a wrap.
Until next time, SYITG. Vincent
