Backblast – Russdiculous Q at The Blender 1/20/2021

I don’t know if it is the Mutters high regard for “O” guys or just how they welcome guests in general but the flag was out and most of the PAX showed up before 5:29 – I’m humbled. Big shoutout to Violet, Handbook, and Flo Jo for representing the O. Shyster gets a pass but Harry Caray was MIA (zzzzzz).

PAX: Violet, Old Bay, Wham, Ball Boy, Plumb Bob, Glenn, Ross, Buschhh, Digiorno, Flo Jo, Backdraft, Peeping Tom, Larry Flint, Frosty, Sump Pump, Handbook, Russ (Q)

After a quick disclaimer we took a mosey around the school to the coupon stash where the PAX selected either a heavy or not-so-heavy coupon and circled up for COP.

  • Grass grabbers (15 IC)
  • Toy soldiers (15 IC)
  • Hillbillies (15 IC)
  • Runners stretch
  • SSH (20 regular, 20 double time)
  • Butt Kicks, High Knees, SSH (20 seconds each)
  • SSH (20 IC – 10 IC, 10 IC-silent) – penalty was 12 Torpedo Squats – I could sense the nerves but the PAX passed the test with flying colors…so we only did 6 Torpedo squats!

Warmed up and ready to roll we lined up for the Main Thang. Using the width of the parking lot we executed the following:

3 Rounds: 20-15-10 reps

  • Coupon swings
  • Overhead carry or suitcase carry (width of parking lot)
  • Curls
  • Overhead carry or suitcase carry (width of parking lot)
  • Traveling merkins (single count)
  • Al Gore for The 6

With 3 minutes to spare, we took a final victory lap around the school and circled up for COR, NOR, announcements, and intentions. I shared about the importance of this group and what it has meant to me over the last year. Not only have I been able to improve and accelerate as an individual, I’m able to share the experience and lessons of F3 with my son – what an awesome feeling that is!

Thank you for the opportunity to lead!
