Now this is a story all about how 7am brought 19 in the crowd…. 90’s theme was the call for the day Oh Yeah!

I was rocking my Macho Man shirt with the hopes the PAX would see the imaginary guns shooting from the sleeves. After a mosey around the school and chapel it was time from a hot start. First song of the day Tubthumping by Chumbawumba. The 69th ranked song on billboard in 1997 led us to side straddle hops with a burpee every time you heard “I get knocked down” if your counting that would 27. “Opps I did it again” hit the speakers and some toy soldiers just felt right. A few other warm ups and it was time for the main thang. 9 exercises 90 reps per- you would partner to run the islands while the other works on the list, with each partner doing the 90 reps: Big Boys, Merkins, Plank Jacks, Squats, Shoulder Taps, Lunges, Jump Ropes, Dry Docks, LBCs. All of this was done with the sweet sounds of mmmbop, what I really really want, backstreets back, and some actually good 90s songs but I had to mix in the asked for requests. We ensured that everyone helped finish up and did some Mary with some time left.
COR-NOR and announcements. Lots going on with PAX signing up for a half marathon and tough mudder… join in for some fun! Intentions to close the day with church bells in the background. Always great to lead! – Gisele
