I was dragging this morning after a late night at the Meter / Tidwell Ruck. By the way, it was the most awesome and weird monthly ruck yet…I bailed when Focker took off his shirt and pants. Anyway, back to this morning. I was cutting it close on time anyway and then of course got stuck by the slow moving county train. No worries. I arrived in time to get set up and start late.
10 PAX total – Boss Hog (R), Tenderfoot, Hardley, Lightweight (FNG), Meter Maid, Cratchit, Hot Tamale, Octodad, Bulletin (R), Dauber (Q)
Disclaimer was given and confirmed and Bulletin made sure I knew I was late. We moseyed for COP…standard stuff. The Main Thang was pretty straight forward. A countdown of pull-up reps (No Meter! If we were doing 11s, I would have f-ing said “11s”!). Starting with 10 pull ups down to 1. After each set of pull ups, we did a lap around the back lot with 3 stops for 10x Merkins, 20x 4count flutter kicks, 10x jump squats. DR FNG, who is a boxer from Austin, was in decent shape and kicked our collective asses, but all PAX cranked through a rough workout. Total was 55 pull ups, 100 Merkins, 100 jump squats, 200 4ct flutter kicks and over 3 miles of running. Pretty awesome.
We had time for some quick Mary and extra burpees with Miley playing us out until COT – CoR, NoR, Announcements, intentions, prayer.
