It has been a little bit since my last Q, but it all came back.
When I first pulled up, I parked next to a car I was unfamiliar with. As soon as I stopped, they immediately pulled away. I initially figured that the PAX realized who was the Q and bolted. But as it turns out it was Panel Van, and he had set his water bottle and wallet on his car and pulled away. So he doubled back to find them. Good news, he did, and he made a good portion of the workout too.
8 PAX eventually showed up on this cool morning to help me slow it down, and concentrate on form. Crockpot, Panel Van, Double Pump, Gisele, Brown Water, Abacus, DeVitto and myself.
We started with a mosey to the front lot to get the blood flowing. Then a few standard warm up exercises of Toy Soldiers, Abe Vigodas, Arm Circles, and Michael Phelps. Then we finished the mosey around the school, back to the starting point.
Back at the starting point I had a board with the exercises. Curls, Squats, Dips, Lunges, Row, and Merkins. PAX were to slow it down, concentrate on form, and use 5 seconds of movement for each rep. So one curl would take 10 seconds to complete. 10 reps of each exercise, then a mosey lap. Rinse and repeat until time.
We finished up with some slow gas pumps, V-ups, and Freddie Mercurys.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / INTENTIONS
It was good to get back to a normal bootcamp post. I have been running more lately, out of fear of injury, but I think I just need to suck it up, and push through. A nice slow rep count allowed for good form to hopefully keep me healthy.
