Inspired by Herbert Hoover and ‘Hoover Ball’ we took on a great morning at the O. Always enjoy this group of HIMS, lots of great mumblechatter, hardwork, and solid numbers. 18 this morning took on some you vs. you competition, team competition and just hard reps primarily using Viking’s medicine balls.

You v. You: 10 manmakers, 20 big boys, 30 squats, run x3
Team Competition with Medicine Ball (MB): Indian Run w/MB (x2), Right > Left MB, Left > Right MB, Suicides w/MB
Shuffle MB Toss full lenght of courts x2 w/accompanying big boys + merkins
Ended with some merry.
Message: Excercise is important, regardless of age. Herbert Hoover played “hoover ball” at 7am at the White House a few times a week to keep his fitness in check. Days I workout, I feel better, I’m a better dad, I’m healthier eating, the benefits are ENDLESS.
