Backblast: Bayside 5/10

What a beautiful morning at Bayside. We certainly didn’t waste it. It was a morning in the lower 60s with a slight breeze. F3 Shelbyville started in the dead of winter with many sub freezing mornings. Days like this one are a blessing to be able to be outside grinding with other HIMs.

After the warmup the real fun began. A little Dora 1-2-3 with the help of coupons.
Dora 1-2-3

100 full bicep curls
200 overhead press
300 bench style press

Partner was doing 50 yd sprints (AYG)

I was proud at how well the PAX pushed through. This wasn’t an easy set of exercises.

Mary work (x2 sets)

Gas pumps x20 (IC, single count)
LBCs x20 (IC, single count)
American Hammers x20 (IC, single count)

We finished up with an Indian Run back to the flag.

Reserve Capacity:

Merkins x25
Indian run (1 pass through)
Air Squats x50
Indian run (1 pass through)
SSH x100

We finished as the sun was rising. What a great morning at Bayside! I just want to give a special shoutout to Spokey Doke and Glauc for putting in the behind-the-scenes work to make sure we are able to stay at Bayside long term. It is a great location.

Announcements and intentions were given. I closed with prayer before we dismissed for the day.
