5/11 Norton Commons Backblast

I put out the preblast with picture of some guy with a ridiculously big bicep and let all know that we would be doing arm work.  Also included a note about MILFS

However, pressed for time, I didn’t have time to load up the coupons so I needed to audible.

5:30: Disclaimer and circle up for warm up.  SSH, imperial walkers, arm circles, and other various leg stretches.  Wrapped this up quickly and then off through the neighborhood doing some MILFS.  Had to tone this down as w/ had 2.0 with us.  Side note- love seeing Tool Time and his son WingNut working out together.  After 1 mile through the neighborhood we ended right back at the park.

Norton Commons has lots of green space and with the rain and cold spring we’ve mostly avoided it.  Today, we do some hill work.  Still keeping it simple we just did BLIMPS at the bottom, then run up to the top of the hill, complete and then run back down the hill.

5 Burpees, 10 Lunges, 15 imperial walkers, 20 Merkins, 25 plank jacks, 30 squats.

After doing one set, Airplane asked for some arm work, so we did a quick 20 BooYahs and then back down to the bottom of the hill for Repeat-O

Adding a hill to BLIMPS is certainly not the most original thing to do, but it was a solid workout.  Next over to soccer field for some Mary

IC- 20 LBCs, 20 Gas Pumps, 20 Freddie Mercs. and 20 American Hammers.  Time for one more set, but lowered to 15IC of each.
