I just listened to episode 14 of the F3 43 Feet podcast, and it really resonated with me. Dredd proposes that to increase consistency, you must remove decision making. You get dressed the same way every day without thinking about it. You do automatic bill pay so you don’t have to think about it. Maybe you eat the exact same thing every day like Nick Saban so you don’t have to think about it.
Make a decision right now to post tomorrow morning so you don’t have to think about it when that alarm goes off. Yes it may be raining, but don’t let external circumstances dictate your behavior. Bring a damn towel.
You have 4 excellent locations to choose from, although I selfishly hope you come get wrecked with me. Lately I’ve gotten kind of good at delivering beat downs in the rain.
We will work. Hard. We will get wet, but not muddy. We will all get better.
Pro tip: it’s supposed to be called the circle of pain, not the circle of stretching, so bring a can-do attitude and be ready to get after it at 0530.
