Thing 1:

Brainstorming a while back for my eventual VQ I came across the Route 66 and thought I’d like it. Then I read about it in an OJ BB from the O and how the PAX loved (hated?) it. That’s when I decided I wanted to do it. Route 66: run around the neighborhood stopping at each street light to complete a burpee. Increase the number of burpees by 1 for each street light. Stop at 11. We ran down Leland to St. Matthews Rd and back up Elmwood. When we stopped at street light 8 I heard moaning/grumbling from the PAX confirming I made the right choice. Finish in the HT parking lot.

Thing 2:

(Double) Triple Nickel. Reading myself a bedtime story last night before falling asleep (Zoo’s BB for he and Grinder’s Double Down co-Q) I realized there was hill work at the Mutt Tues. Thought about changing but decided to stay the course.

First set: Run up the Cherrywood hill and complete 5 burpees at the top. Run down and complete 5 Merkins at the bottom. Rinse and repeat x 5.

Second set: Bernie Sanders up the hill and complete 5 lunge jumps. Run down and complete 5 squat jumps. Rinse and repeat x 5.

About 5 minutes left so head back for some quick Mary. Kind of wish I had another few minutes for a more intense Mary set. I’ll save it for next time.

Don’t let your feet touch the ground for entire set.

Box Cutters x 10 (IC)

Flutter Kicks x 10 (IC)

Freddie Mercury x 10 (IC)

COT. Announcements: WOs at Pleasantville on Fri and Black Ops at Tom Sawyer Park on Tues. Remember to post your BB within 24 hours of WO.

Intentions and prayer.

Couldn’t ask for more for my VQ. Thanks to all that came out. Special thanks to Mama’s Boy for introducing me to F3. Incredible group doing great things and really glad I’m part of it.
