The Blender BB 03/13/19

Conditions were far better for my return to the Q this week.  Zero percent chance of rain and almost 45F.  Some guys even showed up in their white leggings.  The goal was to keep everyone moving ninety five percent of the time and shield my eyes from the winter whites.

Pax included Old Bay, Sump Pump, Blueprint, Tron, Glen Ross, Pepperoni, Backdraft, Spreadsheet, Cornbread and me, Zima-Q.

Disclaimer was given and no FNG’s so we started moving.  Warm up with a lap around the prayer path and grab a coupon on the way to the big parking lot.  COP included Mountain Climbers (30 sec.), Copperhead Squats (20 IC), Michael Phelps (30 sec), Arm Circles forward/backward (30 sec.), Man Makers with Coupon (10) and Coupon Jacks (10 IC).

From there, we jumped right into the WO, an AMRAP designed to isolate muscle groups, mostly shoulders and quads.  Five minutes on with one minute rest in between.  Here we go.

Round 1: AMRAP 10 Merkins and bear crawl halfway across parking lot and jog back.

Round 2: AMRAP 20 Lunges and run top other side of parking lot and Bernie Sanders back.

Round 3: AMRAP 10 OH Press with Coupon and bear crawl halfway across parking lot and jog back.

Round 4: AMRAP 10 Tuck Jumps and run top other side of parking lot and Bernie Sanders back.

Round 5: AMRAP 20 Coupon Curls and bear crawl halfway across parking lot and jog back.

We ran out of time and missed plank jacks round, but everyone agreed to finish at home (wink wink) so we returned coupons and circled up for announcements and intentions.  My spoken intention was that we can all maintain civil discourse and find peace with each other and ourselves as our state closes one of the most heated legislative sessions I can recall.  No matter where you stand, Facebook was an especially ugly place this last week as individuals spout off with no regard for each other.  People don’t talk like this face to face and it’s sad to see them become someone else behind a screen.  You know how you drive a little more mindful when you remember that F3 sticker on your bumper?  Oh wait, is that just me.  Wouldn’t be nice if people applied that same sentiment to their online chatter.  Anyway, I digress.  This group is a positive force and that is a wonderful thing.  Keep up the good work F3.  Happy to be here.
