Started off with a little mosey on the path around the prestige well managed and groomed athletic fields at the Mutt. Circled up in the parking lot at the top of the steps for a little COP which included Kendra Newman’s, Michael Phelps, Downward Dog, Runners Stretch, and some quad stretching.

Grab coupons and head up to the “Field turf” like conditions of our athletic fields. Side note as a proud parent of 3 HT students I am proud of the wonderful field conditions we always have at HT.

Wanted to keep with the Memorial Day theme and honor a fallen Vet so we did a modified version of a CrossFit workout called Zachary Tellier. We did this on our own but waited for all to complete each round before moving to the next.

Rd 1: 10 Overhead Presses(OHP)

Rd:2 10 OHP, 25 Merkins

Rd3: 10 OHP, 25 Merkins, 50 Lunges

Rd4: 10 OHP, 25 Merkins, 50 Lunges, 100 BB Sit-ups

Rd 5: 10 OHP, 25 Merkins, 50 Lunges, 100 BB’s, 150 Squats.

That was tough.

Next was ring of fire. Went around the circle and each pax called an exercise of their choice for 10 reps or 20 reps. Some of the exercises called were: Thrusters, Tea Pots, Burpees, American Hammers, V-Ups, Merkins, Abe Vigodas, Curls, Flutters, Bench Press, and Rows.
