Scratch and Dent
It was a cold morning so it was good to see so many folks out for my Q this morning. Once 530 hit we went for a mosey around the church and school with some high knees and butt kicks mixed in. We circled up for Side Straddle hops times 40. Then we did 20 wide grip Merkins, 15 Abe Vigodas, 20 narrow grip Merkins, 10 grass grabbers, 20 Around the World Merkins.
The Big Thang:
Doracides: Partner up with a coupon. 100 coupon curls, 200 overhead presses, 300Squats, 400 LBC. 2 PAX work together to reach cumulative exercise goals of 100, 200, 300, and 400 reps. The difference comes in the sprint, instead of running 100 yards you will do suicides instead. 1 PAX member will execute as many reps as possible while PAX 2 sprints to cone 1 (or use a pole, tree, etc. for your point of turnaround), 1 burpee, sprint back to partner, touch, sprint to cone 2, 2 burpees, sprint back to partner, touch, sprint to cone 3, 3 burpees, sprint back, switch with partner. PAX member picks up where PAX member doing the exercises left off.
Returned the Coupons and circled up for some Howling Monkeys. Grab your ankles and each Pax takes turns with 10 Monkey Humpers Ring of Fire style. We had Pax going clockwise and counterclockwise resulting in a vicious hump off between Red Card and My Pleasure.
