Sent out the pre-blast yesterday and was going with Christmas themed workout today—good to see at least one person still reads them.
Ok on to the workout: brief disclaimer at 5:30 mosey up the parking lot for quick warmup, then visited Zoo’s honey hole looking for Nativity scene (not out yet) and some dips, derkins and inclines and then mosey over to Leland for Christmas Indian Run.
Not many lights on but we did see Zoo and a giant lit up boner looking Christmas display on Brookfield. Next we mosey’d back to parking lot for coupon ladders.
4 stops with 10 at stop 1, 20 at stop 2, 30 at stop 3 and 40 at stop 4 (we completed five exercises). Had the tunes on and everyone was in a jolly mood. Put the coupons up but before we circle up had the pax complete a brief survey.
See results below:
- Difficulty of this Q: 6.4 (I tossed out the lowest—it wasn’t great but negative? And tossed out the highest—thanks Fridge for the 9.9!
- Would you come back to a Glen Ross Q: 60% answered yes, the other 30% answered “why won’t this guy go away” remaining 10% was a maybe (depends on who’s Q at the O)
- Would you vote that Field Day 2019 was the best workout of the year? 75% answered yes (Lock it up–speech is already finished)
- Later this month I’m traveling downrange and want to try out a new name. This one surprised me as the write in option of Assmaster barely beat out Glen the Butcher. Plumb Bob 2.0 was third. Be on the lookout for Assmaster down in Charlotte
It was cold and I hate the cold weather but I had another great time in the gloom. And honestly, a 6.4 isn’t that bad
Ended with COT: Announcements/ Silent Intentions/ Our Father
