PAX (24) Hush Puppy, Crock Pot, Colonel Klink, Focker, Jolly Rancher, Scratch-N-Dent, Red Card, My Pleasure, Wildflower, Kimble, Jerry MaGuire (R), Captain Crunchberry, Grizzly, Asian Zing (R), Peach, Flip Flop, Brown Water, Pew Pew, Abacus, Cratchit, Double Down (R), Mayhem, Holy Roller (R), Sump Pump (Q).
Weather: 52 with showers in the area. Nothing to fartsack over.
I got The Loco before 5:20 this morning to canvas the area. I assumed no one would be there. Crock Pot rolls up asking if I needed help with anything. There are also 2 other PAX already in the parking lot set to get better.
Numbers slowly crept upward until the train came. After the train, at 5:29, 12 quickly turned to 24. 5:30 – Disclaimer given and I reminded everyone to listen to their body. Modify as needed because we would try to stay moving this morning. Here is what went down.
COP: 25 SSH IC, 15 Grassgrabbers IC, 20 Hillbillies IC, and Downward Dog to a side plank.
We would then count off and partner up for the morning. Each PAX would be accountable.
THANG 1: Moseyed over to the building in front of the playground. P1 would perform Balls 2 to the Wall while P2 would mosey to the playground and start with 15 pull ups or knee ups. P1/P2 would rotate and P2 would B2W while P1 did 14 pull ups/knee ups. We would continue all the way down to 1.
THANG 2: Modified Brick by Brick Shuttlerun (BBBS) – All PAX would grab a coupon and head back over to the lower parking lot. We would line up P1/P2 about 30 yards apart. P1 would mosey to P2 and grab coupon 1 and return to his spot. Then back to grab coupon 2 and return to his spot. P2 would perform 20 Burpees. Whichever Partner finished first would perform SSH until the other partner was finished. We would continue this until each partner did the following: 20 Burpees 15 Burpees, 10 Burpees, 5 Burpees.
With only 5 minutes left, we would return the coupons and line up for a quick Indian run around the perimeter of the Church. We had a close call but no humans were killed or injured by the car that was flying around the corner.
COT: We gave thanks and asked for prayers for silent and spoken intentions. I asked the PAX to reach out to others that they have not seen in a while just to check in. You could be the call that saves a life. Always humbled to lead this group.
