Back Blast – 3/12/2020 – Bulletin Q at The Agony at The County

I’ve been working on my cardio endurance quite a bit lately with some extra running in the mornings at The County. So I knew I wanted to include a good bit of running in my weinke today.

Disclaimer. The INFERNO start, this isn’t just your normal warm-up. 5 minutes of 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 SSH then start again until time is called. I was very humbled to hear a couple of people groan when I announced the warm-up. Apparently since naming this routine two weeks ago in my Q at the INFERNO, the routine has spread to other Qs and sites very quickly. You might say like wildfire. I may need an attorney to help me trademark The INFERNO start.

After completing the warmup, we walked over to the 1st station of my circuit around the school. So the workout is run around the school while stopping at 7 different stations to perform assigned exercises. Keep moving until time was called. The stations included 20 Merkins, 20 Squats, climb the stairs X 2, 15 Curls, 20 Dips, 10 Pullups (20 for Pullup Challenge partcipants), and 10 Box Jumps.

As time was drawing close to the end, Crock Pot and Mama’s Boy went around to collect everyone as I went back to the start to lead Mary until time expired. I added 10 merkins between each Mary exercise just because you can’t do enough of them. Time called and returned to the flag.

Everyone was working hard, I know I got lapped by Colonel Klink and Focker. Others decided to go the opposite way around which I loved because I got to see everyone more often. I’ll remember that next time.
