Diablo BackBlast from The Motivator at The Abyss 6/1/20

Absolutely perfect morning to workout in the Gloom. Started off under some stars, which soon gave way to the spectacular sunrise at Long Run Park. This was not only my first Q at The Abyss; it was my first time posting at this new AO. If you’re in the East End, I strongly recommend a visit. Here is what we did:

Met at the basketball court for COP:

Flutter kicks (20 IC)

SSHs (20 IC)

Tempo Merkins (20 IC)

Copperhead Squats (20 IC)

SSHs (20 IC)

Good mumble chatter here!

Thang 1

PAX lined up on the basketball court’s sidelines for:

4x4s (4) on the sideline

Lung walk across the court

Squats (10) on the other sideline

Mario back

4 rounds

Thang 2

PAX next moseyed down to the picnic tables for:

T Merkins (10), followed by

Dips (10)

4 rounds

(That’s a lot of T Merkins by the way!)

After some dead bodies were pulled off the pavement, PAX circled up for:

Calf Raises (1 minute)

Plank (1 minute)

Thang 3

PAX next moseyed over to the playground for 3 super sets of hanging knee raises (10) and AMRAP LBCs.

If the abs weren’t already hurting a little, they were after we ran back to the basketball court for:

Captain America

(That’s Big Boys and American Hammers 1:4 ratio, up to 10:40)

With a couple of minutes left, the PAX finished up with:

Flutter Kicks (20 IC)

SSHs (20 IC)

PAX circled around the flag for COR, NOR; and COT.
