Back-Blast – Incubator @ Posh – 08/17/2020 – “Fit for Men” Day

I’ve heard the rumblings of an invasion over at Posh for the past few weeks. I had to witness it for myself. So, when Stick Up made his way out to the County I was quick to coordinate a Q over at the Posh. I also realized it has been since mid-January since I had posted over there [excluding North Posh, aka South County].

As I pulled into the parking lot, which was behind a few vehicles [thankfully one had an F3 logo on it], it was a pretty active parking lot. Lots of cars coming in and going everywhere. I vacated the vehicle and grabbed my coupon and went over to Gheen’s Foundation Lodge where a few PAX were gathering…thankfully they got there first I guess, because the Fit for Women group were gathering in a nearby parking lot. More on that later.

Time was getting close and we kept having to move the circle back to make it bigger. We damn near had to take over the Fit for Women’s parking lot, but like gentlemen we made other arrangements.

Disclaimers provided and we started the clock.

PAX:

  • Brown Water
  • Bob Ross
  • Brown Tail (R)
  • Double Down (R)
  • GQ
  • Fruitcake (FNG)
  • Focker
  • PK
  • Holy Roller (R)
  • Tenderfoot
  • Jewel
  • Dynomite
  • Bullrider
  • Cropduster
  • Malpractice
  • Ladybird (R) + Emma [I love that dog!]
  • Stick Up
  • Cousin Eddie
  • Diane Dukes
  • Jolly Rancher (R)

We picked up our coupons and made our way over to the nearby parking lot for the start of COP, which included:

  • 15x – SSH
  • Downward Dog + Runners Stretches
  • 15x – SSH
  • 10x – Grass Grabbers
  • 15x – SSH
  • 10x – Toy Soldiers
  • 15x – SSH

Then I introduced the one and only Thang. Since we had 20 PAX in total, I split the group into two groups. The goal was a set set of arm exercises where we started and I took one group counter-clockwise around the egg law and Stick Up took the other group clockwise around the egg lawn. Goal was to stop at each of the inset parking lots for a set leg exercise, which was the same for each lap. Once the lap was complete, PAX enjoyed some Mary on their own until I got there and then I led in some random stuff until the six showed up. We then rinsed and repeated the same arm exercises, but switched up the leg exercises for laps 2 and 3. Exercises included:

  • ARMS:
    • 5x – Manmakers
    • 10x – Overhead Presses
    • 15x – Curls
    • 20x – Skull Crushers
  • LEGS:
    • Lap 1 – 10x Groiners [for 50x in total]
    • Lap 2 – 10x Jump Squats [for 50x in total]
    • Lap 3 – 10x Jump Lunges [for 50x in total]

It looked a little like this:

I enjoyed this set – not sure about everyone else. Slight problem is that it was hard to find the six. We knew how many were still out because coupons didn’t have an owner back in the main circle. In between the second and third lap I realized we were one short. So, I asked Bob Ross to start the arm exercises while I circled back for the missing PAX – who happened to be in my group [sorry man!]. Not sure how it happened, but I never found him and he somehow magically appeared back in the mix.

We then grabbed the coupons and went back to the flag for COT, which included Countarama, Namearama [including FNG naming], Announcements and Intentions. Upon concluding, as the PAX were walking back to our cars a few of the Fit for Women participants started to heckle us by saying: “You guys done already?!?” Man, that cut deep. I expect the PAX to show them what we’re made of on Wednesday at The Bridge.

Always humbled to lead this group of men.

Jolly Rancher out!
