  • LePew (Q)

Today’s Q was inspired by Holy Roller’s incredible accomplishment three weeks ago. During Airplane’s “You v. You” challenge at the Boondocks, he performed man makers for a consistent thirty-minute period of time. Conservative estimates put his reps around 300, and he didn’t slow down at all.

“What one man can do another can do.”

Although we didn’t do man makers non-stop, we did extend the COP for the full 45 minutes. There was one mutiny involved, but all-in-all we all got better and were able to welcome three FNGs to the group.

COP – we did a lot, so I may forget some.

  • Good Mornings
  • Overhead claps (50 in cadence)
  • Air Press
  • Michael Phelps
  • Nuclears (10 down to 1, back up to 3 then a mutiny occurred)
    • On the way back up the nuclear ladder I realized that noone was with me. It was at that point that I decided to incorporate the manmakers into the routine
  • Man makers (10 OYO)
  • Michael Phelps
  • Overhead claps (25 in cadence)
  • Michael Phelps
  • Hernia Poppers (thank Faulker for the name – 12 reps)

  • Man Makers (10 OYO)
  • Downward Dog
  • Scorpion Pose

  • Side Straddle Hops (50 in cadence)
  • Big Boys (50 Single Count)
  • Man Makers (10 OYO)
  • Curls for the Girls (25 in cadence)
  • Michael Phelps
  • Man Makers (5 OYO)
  • Overhead Claps (35 in cadence)
  • Hernia Poppers (12 reps)
  • Michael Phelps
  • Man Makers (5 OYO)
  • Big Boys (50 Single Count)
  • Man Makers (5 OYO)
  • Reverse Curls (15 Single Count)
  • Man Makers (5 OYO)
  • Flutter Kicks (50 in cadence)
  • Heel Touches (15 in cadence)

We welcomed three FNG’s today: Peterbuilt, Eephus (great name), and Alfred.

  • Peterbuilt pushed himself really hard this morning even though his head lock, Captain Crunchberry was a no-show for him. Peterbuilt is originally from Michigan, lived in Orlando for a little while, and now finds himself as a County boy. He works in logistical trucking, so we thought Peterbuilt fits him well.
  • Eephus is technically a returning member, but posted only once and never came back; our main man Tidwell can take credit for the headlock. The name Eephus is simply a stroke of genius and Pelican should remain awestruck by the PAX’s ability to have thought of it.
  • Alfred was headlocked by Pelican, and received his name because he was tiptoeing on the line of trying to name himself Batman. Double Down threw out the name “Catwoman,” and he didn’t get “Robin” because it’s already taken. Crockpot came up with “Alfred” and voila!

I’m always grateful to Q, and hope that his morning’s workout got the day started right for everyone that surrounded me in that circle. The men of F3 help me find my potential, and I hope I was able to help you guys find yours today.

Thanks for the inspiration Holy Roller!
