BB – BoW @ The O, 9/29/20

The drive to the O from my house is about 30 min and it gives me a ton of time to reflect on the day. I strangely like the quietness in the early morning once I’ve fully awoken.

Anyone who Q’s a fair amount will probably tell you one benefit of Qing at multiple AO’s is that you can wash/rinse/repeat a previous pWO you’ve already ran at another AO. Trust me, I like to keep it fresh, but why not take a good one somewhere else. And that’s just what I did.

I gave the disclaimer that I am not a professional and modify your workout as necessary. And you’re here on your own freewill. We moseyed around the tennis courts for a warmup lap. Then we entered one of the courts to start some COP.

COP – 20x SSH IC, 10x GG IC, 10x Toy soldiers IC, downward dog stretches, and quad stretches

The THANG –

I had everyone count off in 2’s. I have to say the men of the O impressed me…very little complaining and no questions. Haha. The PAX counted off and then I had the 1’s stand in one line and the 2’s stand in a line directly across from the 1’s. We partnered up and exited the tennis courts.

I had the 1s run left and the 2’s run right around the quarter mile tennis court loop. When you meet up with your partner on the other side, PAX were instructed to perform a set of of 5x, 10x, 15x rep exercises. Once completed, the PAX would continue on their paths in opposite directions until they met again on the other side of the loop, which when their paths intersected again, they would then stop and perform the same 5x, 10x, 15x exercises. We did the first set of 5x, 10x, 15x exercises for 15 min then switched it up to a different set of 5x, 10x, 15x exercises.

1st set-

5x Merkins, 10x jump lunges – 2 count, 15x SSH 4 count

2nd set –

5x Merkins, 10x plank jacks 4 count, 15 mountain climbers 4 count

Hot dang, I worked up a good sweat on this one. Maybe it’s because I was partnered with Yoshi and he’s a beast that will push you. Good work sir!

We finished up with about 3 min left for Mary. We did 20x Gas pumps IC, 20 big boy sit-ups IC, and then stretched for the remaining time.

Count o Rama, Name o rama, COT – thanked everyone for coming out to support today’s Q. I really like coming out to the O…just wish it wasn’t so far away. I appreciate all of you guys and we shall see what Backflop brings this Saturday at the Ruiner. SYITG
