After 231 burpees in the Abyss yesterday, today was going to be all about those legs.
I gave the disclaimer and we took a mosey around the parking lot. Pooh Bear shot off like a rocket and only looked back a few time to ensure we were still following. Along the way we did high knees, butt kicks, Bernie Sanders and and All You Got back to the starting point.
We circled up for warmorama where we would stay for the rest of the time.
I informed the PAX that today was going to focus heavily on legs and so our stretching worked on warming up the hips and legs.
I explained that we were going to do a Tabata workout with 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. After 4 rounds of an exercise there was a 20 second rest. I demonstrated the star jump (basically squat into a cannon ball and jump up into an X) and the Lounge Act (lying on your side, with top leg bent, knee-high, and foot on ground, lift lower leg).

After we got done, we took a second mosey around the parking lot just to get our legs moving. Pooh Bear didn’t seem to have the same energy level as he did for the first lap around. Our legs were decimated and we all staggered our way to the flag.

This morning included a lot of laughs (usually coming from the direction of Grandpa Bear or Aerobie), great mumblechatter, dueling flatulence and plenty of hard work. As always, it was great to be in the gloom with each of you.
