8 showed up for a little March Madness at the Abyss. PAX: Squid, Shark Bait, Mr. Hat, Huggies, Flip Flop, Uncle Sam (R), Kitty Litter, Sump Pump (QIC).
Weather was awesome. But man is it dark out there.

6 minutes of warmups. We started out with arm circles, Michael Phelps, calf raises, most all while the Q was getting his gear ready for what was to follow. NUCLEAR!!! Always a great way to get the blood flowing. @kyleroy23 thanks for introducing these to me.
The Thang – Its March so I thought we would have a little March Madness. What the PAX did not know is that it would look like this:

QIC brought a red solo cup filled with numbers 1-31 and a few draws labeled “run”. Pick a 7, and do what the calendar says. Pick a run and grab your coupon and mosey 50 yards into the Abyss and Back. Draw again and then rinse and repeat.

COT – Intentions were both spoken and unspoken. I heard on the drive over this morning on talk radio about leading. The phrase stuck with me so I shared it with the PAX in attendance and will leave it here for others to ponder on as well.
“In order to lead the orchestra, you must turn your back to the crowd.”
