Crock Pot (Q)
81 deg F, 91% R.H. Holy bonkers I’m sweating just thinking about this morning.
YHC is not a professional, nor has he received any certification or training. Everything Q says is merely a suggestion. You as a PAX are here voluntarily on your own free will. This will likely be a high intensity exercise, so if you have any medical condition or physical limitation, you should consider not participating. You are encouraged to modify everything as necessary according to your ability, disability, injury, fitness level, etc.

We packed coupons to the front lot, which was marked off with three stations.
Instructions were as follows:
At each station, do the superset of exercises written in sidewalk chalk, then proceed to the next station. After finishing all three stations, run around the chapel and school back to station 1.
We started with 5 reps of every exercise, but after each lap the reps went up by 5. Station 1 got super fun once the reps got above 20.
See Meter Maid for the August Monthly Ruck. Critically Loved is the benefitting charity, with Tidwell offering to rappel down a building if the total money raised is over $1000.
Psalm 119:1-7 says, “Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They don’t compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths. You have charged us to keep your commandments carefully. Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees!”
There are several things in this batch that could be lessons in and of themselves, but suffice it to say I wish you joy, warn you of the perils of compromising with evil, and encourage you to seek righteousness, honesty, and integrity.
I found out (last week) on my son’s 7th birthday that a colleague of mine’s son wouldn’t have a 7th birthday. She’s an awesome person, a great engineer, and is under some of the most enduring heartbreak someone could go through with the recent loss of her 6 year old son. Her name is Rachael, and I wanted to lift her and her family in intentions this morning.
Also in our intentions this morning were Jitterbug’s colleague Don and his wife Nicole, who are battling Covid and pneumonia, respectively. All this is on top of their fathers dealing with late stage cancer diagnoses. Finally, a St. Al’s guy Mike Robbin’s father was in our intentions.
I was the subject of a well-delivered joke this morning. Upon announcing myself as the Q, Ladybird discreetly asked me if he could bust out some music for the group to enjoy. I told him that normally I avoided music, but today I had it handled. Apparently he was no fan of “CP’s Weight Lifting Playlist”, because he pulled me aside afterward to say that he meant what he said about the music. Next time I’ll take you up on the offer my man. Well played (pun intended – rimshot).
Also, shout out to Brown Water who absolutely clobbered a coupon this morning. I had my back to him at the time, but just as we got started, I heard the unmistakable sound of a coupon breaking at Station 1. And break it did. Seriously, all three web members separated and both shell members split in half. It was remarkable.
note to self, don’t piss off Brown Water…
Until next meal,
