12.28.21 Back Blast: The Planetarium @ The Boondocks

A year ago I found myself being back in full swing almost fully recovered from my ACL surgery. Captain Crunchberry, then site Q over what once was The Station AO had been harassing me to take a Q…any Q and I would finally give in to take the nod on Christmas Eve. At that time my brother-in-law had sent me a racy video of two women enjoying each other’s company donning some very festive, albeit very revealing holiday outfits. As clever as I thought I might have been and to encourage extry attendance, I thought I would include a screenshot in my PreBlast and would term the workout “Naughty or Nice.” Welp, I ended up catching quite a bit of flack for the photo almost found myself expelled from the F3 Brotherhood (I’m probably being a bit dramatic here…). I felt that that the important thing, the workout, was still a good one and when Flexseal asked me me to take the Q, even though it was a few days after Christmas I would pull out that wienke. After all, Santa is always watching and it’s never a bad thing to know the difference between naughty and nice. 10 other dudes were curious to see which side they felt themselves a part of.

PAX: Holy Roller (R), Yankovic (R), FitBit (R), Flex Seal, Swag, Viking, Chili Pepper, Kitty Litter, Honey Do, BigBird (Q)

After the disclaimer we would do a short mosey to the near pitch black basketball court for some COP: SSH, Grass Grabbers, Abe Vagodas, Runners Stretch and some plank complexes.

Following that we would do two laps around the park and after each lap we would use the playground to get in 10 pull-ups. Recover and head back to the lot for…

The Thang: Naught and Nice – PAX would split up into two groups. Nice: 10 of each-burpees, jump lunges, squats and then a mosey about 200 yards away. Naughty: 10 man makers, 10 coupon thrusters and 10 coupon squats and a mosey 200 yards the other direction. When you return you would switch from naughty to nice and vice versa. Once you were done with each side you would go up to 15 reps and then 20 reps. Plan was to go back down the ladder but 20 is all we would have time for.

Recover and had a bit of time for some Mary before time was called. A lot of solid work by all! I got the opportunity to meet and get to know FitBit and Chili Pepper a bit. Both solid dudes and have been making this F3 thing a part of their lives in a matter of a couple short weeks. Keep coming back out and working hard fellas!
