Back Blast Monday 5/9/2022 – The Silo @ North Posh

It was a cool and calm morning at North Posh…perfect for an up tempo beatdown following the excesses of Derby weekend. Mumblechatter was limited overall but Meter Maid was pretty proud of himself for picking the Derby Trifecta (except he didn’t have the 80-1 winner). Anyway…the PAX in attendance were Viking, Mr. Roper, Backflop, Abacus, Huggies, Jimmy Neutron, Meter Maid, Dauber (Q).

After a quick disclaimer and COP (standard stuff), we headed out on a mosey down to the pavilion to start a big circle around North Posh. The main thang was a variation of a workout that Huggies Q’ed just a few weeks ago at NP…imitation is the purest form of flattery. We started with 10 box jumps at the pavilion and a run up to the benches for 20 dips…rinse and repeat three times. Next was a mosey over the parking lot exiting the pavilion area where we did 20 4ct flutter kicks with a run to the Coppiced Woods Trail parking lot for 4ct American hammers…again rinse and repeat three times. Then down to the lower parking lot for three laps with both an All-You-Got run portion and a stop for 20 merkins on each of the three laps. We then headed around and up the hill toward the Silo, stopping at the stone wall for 80 seconds of wall sits and then a handful of Derkins as we passed the benches before arriving back at the flag with a few minutes to spare for Mary.

We circled up for COT – CoR, NoR, Announcements (County Fair & May monthly ruck), Intentions, and Prayer.
