This challenge is designed as a way to help keep me motivated during this down period between races, but can work to get you started for a decent baseline for your first race.
It is a simple running challenge. Log as many miles as possible from Memorial Day until Labor Day. 99 Days to be exact. There are different goals for every level of runners.
Did you just start your running journey? Aim for the “Wendy Peffercorn” which is basically 1 mile every day. If that seems like a walk in the park, jump up to “Hercules aka The Beast” at 300 miles.
