This is a very good question I get often. F3 is a men’s group that doesn’t have many rules, but one of them is that the workout is always outside. That can turn a lot of guys away. I get it. It can be (very) cold, or (very) wet.
So who does show up every week? Here’s a just a few:
Business owners, lawyers, CFOs, mailmen, firemen, military men, men who don’t have a job, or struggling with their job, and men who are there to help those men out.
Fathers… new fathers, fathers who have lost kids, men who are doing whatever they can to have kids, men who’s kids are really, really, sick, and men who are there to help each other cope with all of these life events.
Amazing husbands, men getting married, men going through divorce, men who have lost their spouse, men just having a hard time, and men who are there to help them all out.
Men of faith, men with no faith. Men who believe in God, or just believe in good.
Men who want to do something for their community, or for a friend, or for themselves.
They were all welcome, keep coming back, and that’s why I continue to come back too.
Even in snow, rain, or heat. Sometimes I help them, mostly they help me.
That’s who shows up.
It’s way more than a workout.
