Cool, crisp morning at Pleasantville. I pulled up and the site Q, Holly Roller, was there placing the flag in the ground. I thanked him for asking me to be the ghost Q – Holly Roller is a true HIM and he is a beast! Slowly, the other 12 showed and it was great to meet Smurfette who just moved to Louisville from Woodstock, GA area. Other started coming and we stood around talking until 5:30 and I announced I was the ghost Q.
Pax: Bulletin, Captain Crunchberry, Tidwell, Holly Roller, FOCKER, Kenwood, Smurfette, Big Bird, Hartwood, Devitto, Sump Pump, Jitter Bug, Soft Top and Double Down (Q)
I gave the disclaimer and we moseyed up to the school where we circled up for COP:
- Side Straddle Hops, Toy Soldiers, Imperial Walkers, Arm Circles, Downward Dog where FOCKER does his thing with “left, left” and “right, right”. Not sure about you but, every time downward dog is done, I hear FOCKER in my head saying “left, left” or “right, right”!
Thang 1: 11’s – 1 Merkin run across the parking lots and then do 10 Burpees. 2 Merkins and 9 Burpees and so on. Not much mumblechatter as everyone was working hard.
Thang 2: Moseyed to the park area. Every third light we did the following: 20 flutter kicks, 20 big boys and 20 T-Merkins. Did about three laps and moseyed back to the flag.
Announcements included the County Fair CSAUP on Nov 28 at The County from 5:30-9:30. We will all celebrate with Bulletin next Saturday, Nov 7 – the one year anniversary of when he donated his kidney to his sister – a true HIM!! I gave thanks to F3 for being a big part of my life and appreciated all the guys coming out. Intention to my sister, Rita, who is battling stage 4 cancer. Closed out with an Our Father.
Great way to start the day! SYITG next time!
