Qing a rainy workout presents it’s challenges. You never know how many will show up and don’t really know how wet those that show up really want to get. The benefit of The Abyss is there really is very little cover. So, the men that showed up today knew they’d be getting wet.

Thang 1 – Triple Nickle:
Started at the fork with 5x jump squats. Ran to the beach (e.g., the end of the boat ramp) and did another 5x jump squats. Rinse and repeat 5x. Early finishers did some burpees (not my call, it was Holy Roller who ended early).
Thang 2 – Merkin Waterfall:
I started with 10x merkins. When I counted to 3, the PAX to my left started. Rinse and repeat. When it got back to me, I then did 9x merkins. All the way down to 1x.
Thang 3 – Triple Nickle x2:
Same as above, except we did jump lunges this round. Still 5x on the top, 5x on the bottom and did 5x rounds.
Time was getting close so we gave it an all you got back to the basketball courts for a little bit of stretching. Time was then called.
