YHC decided early last week that this workout was going to be hard. We were going to do the hard thing in order to properly remember why this holiday exists, to honor those brave men and women whom we will never get to properly thank for their service, their dedication, and their ultimate sacrifice to this country, to us. This is why I jumped at the opportunity to lead the workout on Memorial Day.
In hindsight, might not have been a great idea considering YHC decided to act like he was 22 again the day/ night before. Most of the PAX in attendance started their morning off laughing at my expense.
Glowsticks – thank you for your service

Memorial Day is Murph Day – but without a place at North Posh to really do pullups – we modified – and with a full hour – made it harder – if that’s possible. (Also – props to Stick Up and Worm for wearing their new fancy GoRuck tac vests).
1 Mile Run – mapped using the back path starting from the restrooms down to the covered pavilion – up to the road. Run to US60 and back to the restrooms. Now for the suck
50 – Thrusters
50 – Curls
50 – Merkins
50 – Derkins
50 – Inclined Merkins

150 – Lunges

1 Mile Run – same rout as before.
All PAX finished around the 55 minute mark. Circled up for Mary. Called time to pay our respects to those who gave all. PAX said the name of a Kentucky service member who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
