4/12 Temple of Gloom Preblast – Running is a Life Skill. So are burpees

I got some good news today, so to celebrate we’re gonna do something hard. In total contrast from my normal shifty preblast ways, I’m going to tell you exactly what we’re going to do for the main Thang. It’s cool if you don’t come. This will be a base line test that we’ll do again. You’ll remember that you did this. And you’ll walk away stronger. This will be a man-maker:

After a warm up, you’ll have 32 minutes to complete:

100 burpees

1 mile run

50 burpees

1 mile run

Gaaaaaaah! Of course, modify. Do your best. But for anyone thinking of doing a GORUCK event, this may be a good thing for you to try because I think this happens at those sometimes. For anyone wanting to see how good they are or set a goal for where they will be, this would be good for you. All I ask is that I’m not there alone. I’ll wait until my next Q for that to happen since you’ll hate me so much after the workout.
