OK I’m late getting the back blast to you for my Q on Saturday. In my defense I’ve felt pretty bad since Saturday evening and I may have caught something while meeting up with a sick CI and the Ruiner pax. Anyway, here’s the lowdown:
QIC: Red Roof
Pax (21): Digiorno, Deuce, Sump Pump Jitterbug, Little Jerry (R), Pepperoni, Old Bay, Snowman, Sprinkler, Blueprint, Glen Ross, Windshield, Catfish, McAfee, Tiger, Abacus, Gepetto, Tureen, Aerobie, Wham-o, & Red Roof.
COP: Moseyed around the school, grabbed a coupon and circled up. SSH (x20), Copperhead Squats (x20), Kendra Newmans, Merkins (x20), Plank
Thang #1: Grab a coupon and line up. Start with 5 kettle bell swings run down the parking lot and back. Next set 5 coupon swings and 10 walkover merkins up and back. Finally 5 swings, 10 walkovers, and 15 curls up and back running.
Thang #2: Switched things up a bit and told the pax we’re headed to meet up with the Ruiner pax for a little patty cake. One mile out and one mile back. Running is a life skill after all.
At the meetup Little Jerry pointed out it looked like the scene from Westside Story between the Jets and the Sharks. Really the only difference I saw is no one could snap their fingers because we were wearing gloves.
Once we lined up CI led us in some Build-a-Bears. For those who are unfamiliar with them you basically bear crawl the lines of the parking lot and do a man maker at the end of every spot. Woof!
We switched up the man makers by next doing a round of B.L.I.M.P.S. – 5 burpees, 10 lunges, 15 Imperial walkers, 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jacks, and 30 Squats….all OYO.
After all of that time was up and we moseyed the mile back to The Mutt.
COT: Prayers to the Sky Q at COT and Coffeteria afterwards was great and had a big crowd.
