BB- The Fog at the Poshland – 4/9/22 – Meter Maid Q

I am always happy to be lead the Fog. For those who haven’t been to the Poshland recently, it is worth the trip. I had some new 2.0 GoRuck sandbags and I was ready to lead a sandbag based workout. There were five pax there ready to put in work [Worm with a 40 pound weight vest, Jewel, Jitterbug (R), Bacon (who parked his F150 on top of a curb), and Meter Maid (Q)].

It was truly a sandbag fest as the five of us had eight sandbags that we would use in the workout.

After proving a disclaimer, we took a quick lap around the parking to get warm. YHC called out 5 nuclears. Bacon was moving but not sure those were nuclears. Then, led some Toy Soldiers IC. We did 5 inch worm merkins and Michael Phelps OYO.

We lugged the sandbags over to another parking lot. We split off into two groups (one group of two and one of three). One partner from each group would run to the other end and back while the other partner did manmakers. Upon returning, the partners swapped. We did two rounds and moved to the other end and did curls. It sounded like Jewel might had led a workout earlier this week with lots of curls. Completed two rounds twice before taking our sandbags over toward the bridge.

At the bridge, we split the sandbags across the two ends and did 11s with manmakers and 4-count fluttter kicks. Worm made it through most of the 11s before he had to leave.

After 11s, we returned to the startex. We stood back to back and rotated a sandbag to work our obliques. Jewel got dizzy but no Merlot was splashed. Finished up on our six with pretzel crunchers IC for both sides before time was called. Besides moving and using those sandbags, we logged nearly 3 miles.

We circled up around the flag. Then led the COR and NOR. After announcements and intentions ended with an Our Father.

Always Humbled to Lead,

-Meter Maid
