For anyone who’s not done this, here’s your chance. It’s to honor Lieutenant Michael Murphy and all that sacrificed defending our country. And it’s a great test of your fitness and resolve.
I hear some of you saying, “But CI, I’m terrible at pull-ups.”
To that I say, “you can do 5, right?”
You reply, “well, yes. I can do 5.”
“Great!” I exclaim. “All you have to do is 5 twenty times.”
“Uh, CI, that’s not 5,” you say.
“Sure it is, because between each 5, you only need to do 10 Merkins and 15 squats. Twenty times. Oh and run a mile before all that and when you’re done.”
I should be a motivational speaker (I think ignoring your face).
Who’s with me besides Diablo (who will also be weighted)? Right, forgot that bit. A 20lb vest is recommended but not required.
