BB- North Posh – 1/24/22 – Meter Maid Q

I decided to bring the potted plant for the first time to North Posh. I knew given the temperature, we needed more than a standard heavy. I threw in some running to keep the pax warm. I arrived about 15 minutes early to get it all set up.

I called this one Reps, Run and a Rope(r). The rope was for the single jump rope and Mr. Roper recently became site Q here.

When it was 5:30am, there were five PAX: Mr. Roper, Wet Bandit (who is starting a new job today with robots and surgery), Viking, Worm (who got good news on his knee after the workout), and Meter Maid (Q- his 7th since the beginning of Iron Horse). I gave the disclaimer.

There was no Dauber or Pelican as they were recovering from winning all three basketball games they played in last night. Speaking of basketball, if you need an F3 on 3 patch, Pelican is giving them away faster than all his trophies.

I originally planned to mosey for part of COP but since Worm couldn’t run, I kept it closer. We did strict runners stretch and stuff. Then we did some Toy Soldiers IC, and slow grass grabbers IC. We finished with Kendra Newmans (arm circles) and Michael Phelps OYO.

The main thang was working out with potted plants (Sorinex Center Mass Bells), two GoRuck sand bags and a jump rope. I told them some exercises but given there versatility, there were lots of different exercises performed.

Between sets, the PAX would run to the boat house and back. All in all, I had over 2.5 miles of running before time was called.

The Pax helped me to move the weight back toward one spot – all 360 pounds. We circled up the flag and did COR and NOR. For announcements, the February ruck will be 2/18 – Winter Olympics at the O. The awards dinner is on Friday night. We lifted up intentions for pax recovering from injuries and other unsaid intentions. We ended with an Our Father.

Always humbled to lead,

-Meter Maid
