A few weeks ago Pelican took my Q and site Q duties while on vacation. This was my week to repay him. It was hot and muddy 75 degrees to start the workout. The picnic remnants had been cleaned up from the last weekend.
There were 14 pax ready to tackle the day: Double Pump, Pony Keg, DeVitto, Sputnik, WILDflower, Cratchit, Gisele, Little Jerry (R), Brown Water, Abacus, Double Down (R), Crockpot, Bull Lick and Meter Maid (Q).
After the disclaimer, ran around the big loop until we approached the playground for COP. It included Mountain Climbers IC, Cobra, Chinooks (rather than usual arm circles), and Michael Phelps.
We did 5 minutes of EMOMs. Good thing it wasn’t tabata or Abacus would have rebelled. It was 5 burpees, 10 merkins and 10 V-Ups. Then, the main thing was bear crawl up the school hill, then lunge walk to the street and run back to the playground for 5 pull-ups, 10 derkins and 15 dips. It sounds like a Malito dips and derkin Q. It was rinse and repeat.
I went back to get the music and every time I got back, the Tom Petty was playlist was off. I started to think it might have been Cratchit with just being close to the speaker.
We had about 5 minutes left for Mary by the flag. We did flutter kicks, left leg only flutter kicks and right leg only only flutter kicks. Closed out with elevators until time was called.
Concluded with COR (Crockpot tried to throw off our counts unsuccessfully), NOR, announcements, intentions and Our Father.
