BackBlast- 2/5 BO @ Bayside

The past few days have been a nice break in the cold weather. This is my first winter being apart of F3 and I learned quick it is easy to lose motivation and find an excuse not to post when the temps get brutal. I have made it out on a few of the balmy single digit mornings. When dressed proper and prepared, it’s not that bad. I needed this snap in the weather cycle to rejuvenate and refocus. Perfect timing to throw a BO @ Bayside with 6 HIM’s who came out!

PAX: Charolais (R), Fanny Pack (R), Shuttlecock (R), Birdie, Johnny 5, Sadie (Q)

Conditions: Nearly Perfect

Disclosures and mosey around the parking lot.

COP: 20 Smurf Jacks (IC), 20 Imperial Walkers (IC), 20 Grass Grabbers (IC), 20 Mountain Climbers (IC), Plank Stretch

Mosey to the Courtyard circle behind the school. We had 4 stations around the circle in which we moved to each in a circuit completing exercise around the courtyard.

Thang 1: Circle of Fun 5/10/15/10/5

First circuit 5 reps each exercise, second 10 reps, third 15 reps, fourth 10 reps, fifth 5 reps.. on your own and in succession.

Dips, T-Merkins, Big Boys, Step Ups

Thang 2: Circle of Fun Continued.. 5/10/15/10/5

First circuit 5 reps each exercise, second 10 reps, third 15 reps, fourth 10 reps, fifth 5 reps.. on your own and in succession.

Derkins, Plank Jacks, LBC’s, Box Jumps

10 Count from all PAX and on to Mary.

Somewhere between the first and last set of Mary, Charolais called for a 20 minute break and a cigarette!

F3 provides accountability and support to keep us moving when we want to stay down. I am thankful for the HIM’s whom encourage me knowing there is nothing more I would rather do than fartsack a WO on a real cold morning. When pushed to roll out and overcome the mental hurdle keeping you down, you are experiencing and accomplishing more than a workout! AYE!!
